Prado Up Late continues at the Queensland Art Gallery. This Friday [September 7], Stephen Cummings is joined by John Willsteed for his only Brisbane performance of 2012.
Singer–songwriter Cummings first achieved success as the lead singer of Australian rock band The Sports (1976–81). With a longstanding solo career, Cummings has been described by The Age as ‘one of the great voices of Australian rock’. He has worked with musicians including David McComb, Grant McLennan, Dave Graney and Tim Finn. Adding to his prolific discography is the recently released Reverse Psychology (2012). At Up Late, Cummings will be accompanied by John Willsteed (The Go-Betweens, Halfway, Plug Uglies).
