Live Nation and Niche announce venue and lineup changes to Movement 2013.

Due to a pending court case and Australia and New Zealand Visa eligibility requirements and processing timelines, 2 Chainz will no longer be performing at Movement this April.

Angel Haze has also been forced to withdraw from the inaugural Movement due to recording commitments with a certain high profile producer unavailable other than at the time planned to perform in Australia.

Whilst this news is disappointing, we are thrilled to add IGGY AZALEA to all shows. The Australian born MC will be here on her first Australian tour since taking America and the world by storm, and on the back of her brand new single “Work”.

DIAFRIX has also joined the bill for the east coast shows after supporting Macklemore & Ryan Lewis on their sellout national tour.

This week also sees Movement  announcing the triple j Unearthed winners in each city – tune in to the triple j Hip Hop show tonight from 10pm to hear the winners announced. Rounding out the lineups will be DJs Halfway Crooks in Sydney, Mafia & M-Phazes in Melbourne, Charlie Bucket in Perth and Gavin Boyd & Butcher in Brisbane. For full lineups and listings see below.

Due to an adjustments in the lineup and a worse than anticipated long range weather forecast, it has been necessary to move the following shows to Indoor Venues.  All dates, however remain the same as scheduled.

Melbourne’s event on Saturday 27th April moves to Festival Hall – all ages – from Myer Music Bowl

Brisbane’s event on Sunday 28th April moves to Eatons Hill Hotel – all ages – from The Riverstage

Perth’s event on Tuesday 30th April moves to Metro City from Red Hill Ampitheatre to satisfy requests for a more centrally located venue on a Tuesday night. Unfortunately licensing requires that the event is now – over 18’s only.

Sydney’s event on Friday 26th April remains at The Hordern Pavilion – all ages.

With only two weeks to go before the inaugural MOVEMENT hits your town, here’s a preview of how hours of world class hip-hop will look in your town.
