Jackie Marshall has released another soulful folk single from the soundtrack of new feature film ‘Three Chords & The Truth’ – ‘Chop Wood Carry Water’ is out today following the release of her ‘You Know What I Mean?” single last month.
Australian full-length film “Three Chords & The Truth” (Wild Divine) premiered at the Brisbane International Film Festival this week, starring Marshall with an incredible performance in her debut acting role. Directed by Claire Pasvolsky and produced by Academy Award nominee Steve Pasvolsky, the film follows an older female musician who “had kind of missed her chance and isn’t very well” who helps a young runaway while determined to finish her album.
