Feelings Announces New Single and Tour

Published on January 19th, 2013
With a debut album set for release in mid 2013, former Sydneysider Feelings will launch his new single ‘Intercourse’ across Australia this February.
Catch Feelings launch ‘Intercourse’ at Lambba Lambda Lambda in Brisbane on Thursday 7 February, The Beresford Hotel in Sydney on Friday 8 February, Nite Society @ Transit Bar in Canberra on Saturday 9 February, The Workers Club in Melbourne on Friday 15 February, and Plus One @ Ed Castle in Adelaide on Saturday 16 February.
Co-written with Michael Tomlinson (Yves Klein Blue), ‘Intercourse’ is a sexpop number guaranteed to turn strangers into friends.

Feelings is the new project from former Philadelphia Grand Jury frontman Simon Berkfinger and features Dave Rennick from Dappled Cities and Art vs. Science‘s  Dan Williams. “After the last band broke up, I was staying on my friends’ living room floor and only writing grunge tunes,” says Berkfinger. “I deleted most of them. Now it’s more freaky. Freaky grunge if anything. But I’d rather talk about Brian Eno than Kurt Cobain.”

Berkfinger has also spent the past ten years making a name for himself as a producer. Last year he left Australia and started
Golden Retriever, a new studio in Germany. Golden Retriever has already opened its doors to Germans, Britons, Americans, New Zealanders and Israelis, as well as Australian acts like Step Panther, Velociraptor and DZ Deathrays.

‘Intercourse’ will be released digitally via Itunes on Friday January 25. Feelings will tour Australia In February.
