One cinema event not to be missed this week is Early Winter at New Farm Six this Friday night.
Written and directed by Australian ex-pat Michael Rowe (Caméra d’Or prize-winner Leap Year) and produced by Trish Lake (Frackman, Gettin’ Square), Early Winter is a beautifully acted story about how we seek happiness through our romantic partnerships. Filmed entirely in Quebec, Early Winter is a Canadian/Australian co-production which won the prestigious Venice Film Festival Venice Days Award. More recently EARLY WINTER is in contention for an AACTA nomination. Join us for this special screening, after which writer/director Michael Rowe will take part in a Q&A.
The screening takes place at 6.30pm, Friday October 7 @ New Farm Cinemas
