After a busy and adventurous year writing and recording his next album across various cities of the American south, indie-folk troubadour Darren Hanlon will return to Australia to play his customary Christmas shows in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane this December.

Don’t miss Darren Hanlon on Saturday 21 December at St Stephens Anglican Church in Sydney, Sunday 22 December at Northcote Social Club in Melbourne, and Monday 23 December at Black Bear Lodge in Brisbane.

Darren Hanlon will also perform at the Woodford Folk Festival in Woodford, Queensland, on Friday 27, Sunday 29 and Monday 30 December.

Now reaching its eighth year of tradition, the Christmas shows will once again be solo, intimate readings of various cuts from Hanlon’s back catalogue. Darren will also showcase new songs from his forthcoming album, set for release in March 2014, with a little help from surprise musical guests.
