THIS is Black Mustang, Brisbane’s answer to everything that Australian rock’n’roll once was & ought to be.

With the latest single “Loaded Gun” due for official release in October 2012 as a 4 track limited edition 7” Vinyl, Black Mustang are taking to the streets with a national tour throughout late October/early November 2012.

Motivated & driven by an eclectic mix of Detroit 1970’s and Australian pub rock circa, Australia’s best kept indie rock secret continue to cultivate a genuine underground legacy & cult following through their retro inspired high energy garage rock.

Black Mustang’s spirited & sweaty live show saw them cut their teeth on the live scene with legends of the Australian Rock the Angels, Celibate Rifles, Nick Barker & The Reptiles, The Stems & Lime Spiders, as well as the more recent cream of Oz-rock revivalists Wolfmother, British India, 67 Special, 6ft Hick & Tame Impala.

The band has reached a worldwide audience, with tracks selected & featured heavily on TV Shows & international campaigns including: Vampire Diaries, Californication, Pretty Little Liars, Entourage, Supernatural, The Unit, Bikie Wars, Bondi Rescue, Recruits, City Homicide, Guerilla Gardeners & Thank God You’re Here.

With three releases, white line fever, bar fights & 3am lockouts under their belt 2011 saw Black Mustang deliver their highly anticipated 2nd album “Loaded Gun” featuring the singles “Ain’t Going Down” & “Love, Lies, Bleeding” as heard on national radio. The album again received critical acclaim, including a recent 2012 QMA nomination for the hypnotic blues track “Devil Blues”.
