They’ve slayed the likes of Splendour in the Grass, Big Day Out and The Falls Festival in Oz; CMJ and SXSW in the States and now it’s the UK’s turn to experience the freewheeling wonder of The John Steel Singers.

Fresh from signing with UK label Full Time Hobby, the Brisbane-based ‘Singers will take the stage at The Great Escape next month, with performances announced either side at Liverpool Sound City and Sebright Arms. The tour precedes the UK release of their acclaimed sophomore LP Everything’s A Thread – out July 28 via Full Time Hobby.

Everything’s A Thread has come a long way from its makeshift-studio inception on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, with album track ‘Happy Before’ enjoying an NME premiere overnight and serious kudos to boot.

The John Steel Singers’ sophomore album Everything’s A Thread is out now in Australia & New Zealand via Dew Process/Universal Music Australia and will be released in the UK on July 28 via Full Time Hobby.
