Charlie Horse, the Sydney group described by Rolling Stone as Patti Smith fronting Crazy Horse, bring their kick-ass show to Queensland in December, having already toured New Zealand and NSW.
Sydney’s triple J radio described the sound as “big, bluesy guitars with twisted narrative delivered through a rusty howl from Crystal up front”
Brisbane’s 4ZZZ radio said “stone cold and menacing, that’s what comes to mind listening to this single from Sydney-siders Charlie Horse…Alt country rock with the same tones and themes as Nick Cave or Patti Smith are renowned for”
With their single ‘Deep Water’ receiving extensive play on radio across the country, Charlie Horse’s fourth trip to Queensland will showcase their second album ‘Strange Passengers’, as well as crowd favourites from their critically acclaimed first album ‘I Hope I Am Not A Monster’.
Queensland Dates:
Dec 13 – The Spotted Cow, Toowoomba with The Slow Push
Dec 14 – Rics Bar, Brisbane with The Slow Push
