Australian punkers BODYJAR will finally unleash ‘Role Model’, their first album in over eight years this Friday October 18th via UNFD.
On the brink of clocking up 20 years since inception, Bodyjar understandably stand tall amongst the most loved and influential punk acts our wide brown land has spawned, having toured with the biggest names in punk through the nineties and into the 2000’s, dominating events like the Big Day Out and Warped Tours and releasing a slew of instant-classic albums.
Tracked in secret earlier this year upon return from several years of official hiatus, ‘Role Model’ sees Bodyjar rediscover their love for making music. Fast paced and packed with melody, it is arguably their most cohesive set of songs ever.
Already careering around the country in November with Tasmanian troublemakers Luca Brasi, Bodyjar’s anticipated album tour will now include Melbourne electric noise-peddlers The Sinking Teeth, who have commented:
