The 24th edition of Australia’s most passionate film festival features an incredible selection of new Italian cinema including all three Italian films that screened In Competition at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, a lineup brimming with the best films from contemporary Italian auteurs and female filmmakers, a retrospective and many special events.

This year’s festival promises an extraordinary array of new Italian cinema that celebrates the rich tapestry of Italy’s language, stories, and culture. The program is a vibrant mix, featuring the latest works from contemporary Italian auteurs, captivating documentaries, and a retrospective tribute to the beloved Italian cinema legend, Massimo Troisi, among many other exciting offerings.

The Brisbane leg of the Festival runs from September 27 to October 25.
